Choke Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Denmark - Home

Despite everything I have gone through, I do not regret the problems I have had to face, for they have brought me where I always wanted to be.

My sword I give to him that shall succeed me in my path, and my courage and skill to him that can get it. My marks and scars I carry with me. They are witnesses of the battles I fought, rewards of what I achieved.

There was a time when I always heard tales of bravery. There was a time when I lived only because I needed to live.

Now I live because I am a Jiu-Jitsu pilgrim and because I wish to one day be back in the company of those I have always fought for.

While our head instructor Joao Pedro Santos is in Japan next week, Tajs Kolman, Rune Thorbek and Jesper Bendtsen will be teaching the classes. The school will operate with a modified schedule during the period.

Last weekend BJJ history was made in Denmark as the country hosted Scandinavia's first ever official tournament sanctioned by the IBJJF. The Choke Team came to fight and won medals in some very competitive divisions.

Our team once again had great performances and won many medals at the Danish Open of BJJ. The highlight was Anne Buch Møller's double gold in the female adult blue belt division.

Marcus Dahl Rasmussen traveled to the latest IBJJF event in Rome and won his weight class in both Gi and nogi with a total of six submissions in nine matches.

The main school in Copenhagen will operate with a reduced schedule during the Easter Week. We will still have classes every day because many of our students are preparing for the upcoming tournaments.
